I don't tie myself down to one particular brand of music, I'm open for most ideas. My favourite band is Iron Maiden, but I remain open minded enough to give other artists a fair go.
The one thing that really gets on my nerves is some talentless crap that the music industry throws up as the next big thing. Most of the time it's the next bunch of talentless crap.
Serious artists, who really live their material, are the ones that will get consideration from me.

I read a whole lot of stuff, always looking for that elusive WOW factor. Occasionally I find something, but unfortunately that happens very rarely.
Heroes
None, as no human beings have ever inspired me with any heroic acts in my lifetime, short as it may be. People who fight oppression without ever giving in to it will be my only considerations, like Martin Luther King and such people.
Unfortunately he was killed just after I was born, so he never really affected my life. Looking back, he's probably the only one I could call a hero, at least until persuaded otherwise.
About me: Read First:
If you're on my top friends list, then you're there on merit. Positioning isn't relevant at all, except for my wife, the rest is more or less random.
Second of all:
If I accept the friendship request of a band or other musicians/artists, it's because I like their work. If I decline, then you haven't done enough to impress me, don't try over and over again, because I will block you eventually.
Just so you know it, I don't accept friendship from death/black metal bands, nor any bands that view themselves as core this or that, they're too fucking boring for my taste, so don't even bother requesting my friendship. It will get turned down.
Third:
I'm not taking part in some internet popularity contest, any more than my good friend Jason (a.k.a. myownalias). If you don't like my comments, rants, blog entries and such, then you can just go and fuck off and die. I'm here because I chose to, not because somebody wanted me to become the most popular smegpot on the internet. Neither am I interested in helping people boost their friend count so they can brag about it to their mates. it seems like quite a lot of musicians are only in it to boost their numbers, but here's some breaking news: I won't fucking accept and now smeg off.

It was a good trip, it was an experience I will never forget. Travelling on just about every form of transport imaginable. I want to make the trip up to the ol' iceberg soon but I need to sort out my housing situation and I still may be going to America yet! I have a very complicated life y'know!
