Redband

Howdy hey, Redband started up a little over a year ago. We just finished recording our first demo and have all 4 songs up now. OK, now for w wee-bit 'o' history: As you may have guessed *or not* Chad Channing did play drums for NIRVANA and other bands like the FIRE ANTS, THE METHODISTS, and other bands........happy memories! Both Andy and Jeff played together in BUDDAS FAVORITE COLOR---and Jim and Andy played together in CAT FROM DOG MOUNTAIN---they had other bands, too---too many to list, happy memories. An accurate desription of what REDBAND sounds like? If BLACK SABBATH decided to quit playing hard rock and tried playing ska and reggae, but were too pop to pull it off--you would have REDBAND.....at least I think........We don't really seem to slide into any genre of music easily. At times we might sound a little like DEVO and other times like a rock band of no particular style. We have been told that our singer Jeff sounds like a cross between Danzig and Elvis----holy crap, now that's a teaser! We hope to offer you something fresh for your spent little ears to listen to--and we play to have fun. Cheers! ..
