Knowledge is not the basis of enlightenment , enlightenment is the basis of knowledge. He/She who has a why to live can bear almost any how. If you aren't good at loving yourself, you will have a difficult time loving anyone, since you'll resent the time and energy you give another person that you aren't even giving to yourself. The acquisition of riches has been to many not an end to their miseries, but a change in them: The fault is not in the riches, but the disposition. Our doubts are traitors and make us lose the good we might win, by fearing to attempt. Change is created by those whose imaginations are bigger than their circumstances.
