About the band
- Petri, Veli and Samuli wrote and sang the songs and played the guitars. Olli was the drummer. Each of them has their own colored dot in the band's logo.
- They existed as Red Carpet from 2001 to November 2007, when they played their last gig in Dubrovnik, Helsinki.
- They have released two albums - Halfway in 2003, and The Noise Of Red Carpet in 2005.
- In late 2003, a video was made for the song Tangled. Some people claim to have seen it.
- Some people say Red Carpet sound a bit like Buffalo Springfield, Teenage Fanclub, Love, CSN or The Beatles.
About "The Noise Of Red Carpet"
- The album was recorded in Tampere with engineer Jarno Alho, during 2004-2005.
- The album includes 6 songs written by Veli, 5 by Petri and 1 by Samuli.
- It was released in Finland in September 2005 by the hard working independent label If Society.
- November 2005 saw a Japanese release for the album, through Quince Records.
