Powerful vocals, tight harmonies, and top-notch picking are what you'll experience when you see Amy Black & the Red Clay Rascals.
The band's repertoire of mainly roots music includes folk, bluegrass, blues, old country, gospel and rockabilly. The night starts with guitar and vocals, picks up steam in the second set with toe-tapping bluegrass, and brings it home in the final set with blues and rockabilly.
Amy Black | Lead Vocals Amy Black sings it like she means it. A singer for many years in various settings, Amy has found an outlet for the music she loves to sing with the Red Clay Rascals. And her voice has struck a chord with audiences. It has been described as powerful, soulful, gutsy, sensual and unique. You can hear more of Amy at MySpace.com/amyjblack.
