BILLY SIMPSON from LAST CALL is awesome. The last band's drummer got delayed so he got on stage by himself, just him and his guitar, and rocked out. Totally IMPRESSIVE!

It's NATIONAL YOUTH WEEK 2010! All around Australia communities everywhere are putting on events for young people to showcase their talent and their interests.
The Youth Space wants to thank everyone who turned out to our first NYW10 event on Saturday at North Lakes and we also want to thank those of you who turned up to the Moreton Bay Regional Council event at Kallangur on Monday!
Next up - RedROCK this Saturday night (17 April). Five incredible bands in one huge, FREE live music event! Come see THE CLIFFES, LAST CALL, EPHEMERIS, TRASHQUEEN and THE BLACK WALLS! Seriously, these bands are the cream of crop. It'll be a great night - just remember we're a Youth Centre so NO DRUGS, NO ALCOHOL, NO EXCEPTIONS! Hope we see you there! Kicks off at 4pm.

The Redcliffe Area Youth Space(aka "Youthie" or the "Youth Space") is a Youth Organisation in the Moreton Bay Region of South East Queensland. We do heaps of stuff for young people aged 10 to 24, including counselling and support, education programs, support for young offenders and their families, support finding accomodation if you're on the streets, rec activities, loads of events... (we have a huge outdoor stage and natural outdoor concert area)! We do all sortsa stuff! We're pretty much only limited by our whacky imaginations. MySpace would bug out and shutdown if we listed all the movies everyone here likes! And can you imagine if MySpace shutdown? It wouldn't be pretty... riots, tears... would be tragic.Television

Anyone who believes in the same stuff we do: giving young people a go * the environment * the arts * sticking up for people who are doing it rough * crazy fun events * the freedom to choose (wisely, we hope) * fun. Fun's important! :) We have lots of it at the Youth Space!
