Stephanie Tatum-Ford
Stephanoitis – born a Leo, naturally seeking attention at age 7 put oranges in her top while trying to pick up a 27 year old family friend, began trying out her singing career by performing “Born Free” to Sister Mary Magdalene’s 6th grade class at age 8 and won a postcard of the pope. Went on to win 8th grade talent contest singing “Aquarius” and was told by her 12 year old friends, she sounded just like Janis Joplin – Ha!. Actual inspiration comes from 60’s R&B/Soul/Motown Sound and 70’s disco & hard rock Zeppellin….fast forward to 2000 met Ros, like-minded music artist with whom she collaborates and also shares a sisterly friendship
Ros Sinclair
Band founder and writer of most of REDD'S material, Ros purchased her first keys at the tender age of 30. Carrying them home she was asked “are you a musician?” by a passerby. “No”, she replied, “but I’m going to be”. Writing and playing ever since, Ros was influenced by the soul/reggae/funk/R&B dance scene in British clubs, and the Indie/folk/Brit pop/rock of the 80’s & 90’s Ros played with Nottingham Indie band “Rough Music” in her native England. Once firmly planted on the Big Island she met Steph through playing her original compositions for local theatre. “I heard Steph sing one line on stage and knew I wanted to work with her”.The two shared many passions and became fast friends. Redd in its embryonic form was born.

With Motown and classic rock at home as a foundation, O. Smith is on a quest of expression within the realms of music, philosophy and spending days as a geospatial consultant. With hip Hop, Jazz and Punk as focal points, O. Smith is poised to represent for the new paradigm a cross collaboration among all genres. Peace, Love and Unity, O. Smith
Jeff Quin
Jeff started performing at age 7 playing taps at a cub scout meeting on a bugle. As a teen, he switched to guitar after being influenced by Jeff Beck and soon took up fiddle. He earned the scorn of the old timey community when he was asked the source of his material by replying that he just made his parts up. A famous folkie told him that he played his fiddle like a lead guitar. It wasn’t a compliment. He currently plays with various groups including old Hawaiian music, zydeco, rock N’roll and his favorite band REDD
Joe Barry
Joe Barry, from Minnesota, began playing bass in the early 70's after hearing Clem LeBarr sit in on string bass with the Turkey River Allstars jazz band. Clem recommended study with Bill Marinac whose first band was formed in his parents basement in Hibbing with Bob Zimmerman. In high school Joe played amplified string bass in a three piece power band, then eventually, electric bass after the scroll was knocked off the bass violin in a brawl between the Traditionalists and the Modernists at a keg party. He continued in the 80's with art bands near Bean Town and the Big Apple and has been involved in Big Island music since the mid 90's.
