Hi there, I don't mean to spam you, I just have some updates on my debut release and want to share them with everyone who is in my "special friends" folder.
The new release date will be April 2009. I am in the process of finalizing the licensing of the album "Road US 75" with Captiva Records, out of San Marcos, on the outskirts of Austin.
The good news is that I WILL FINALLY HAVE CDs. Most of you have told me that you would like to own a CD, rather than downloads. I agree with you and I also prefer CDs to downloads. I think it just works better with this kind of music.
So I'm looking at playing live in the USA as much as possible from April. I want to put together a band to tour the country with made with other songwriters and musicians from Tulsa, so that you get 3 or 4 songwriters in one show...but I can also do solo.
Having done the math, I figured that if 50 people want to see me play anywhere in the world, it becomes possible. So I am making that promise now. If there are 50 of you, I'll come to the smallest village in Iran to play for you. I have a RED widget on both my myspace pages. Please use it to let me know where to play.
