Red Door Burlesque is produced by Hi Ball Burlesque and is by far Melbourne's premier burlesque/cabaret hot spot! Red Door showcases many of Australia's finest acts ranging from burlesque, cabaret, circus (aerial/trapeze/tissue), vaudeville and much more. We choose our acts carefully to bring our special audience an abundance of dynamic and interesting acts. The special guest lineup is different every month so you can be rest assured of fine and interesting performances. Think of our Club as European with a twist of old world New York back in the 1940s/1950s.

Ms Cherry Valens - Direct from Adelaide

After years of extensive professional dance training in styles ranging from ballet to Brazilian samba, Miss Valens is appropriately qualified to put the 'dancer' back into the title of Burlesque Dancer. Using her undeniable talent for dance, choreography and costume design Miss Valens has created acts that are a stylish and sensual display of dance, tease and humour. Her performances are reminiscent of the glory days of music hall, variety revues and vintage musicals. Miss Valens' highly developed performance skills allow her to effortlessly combine charm and grace with sex appeal and fun. Since beginning the burlesque revival in Adelaide, Miss Valens has graced the stages at numerous events and private parties for clients such as SAFM, Peter Lehmann Wines, Newmarket Insurance, Ausdance, GLAM Adelaide, Kustom Kulture Weekender and Sugartime in Sydney. In a field dominated by smoke and mirrors, Miss Cherry Valens is the genuine article.

Annabel Carberry: Aerial, hoops & cloudswing

Annabel began her circus career at the age of 12, performing all over the world with the famous Australian youth circus, The Flying Fruit Fly Circus. Since then she has performed with many circus companies, and as a solo and duo performer in festivals, corporate events, cabarets and burlesque shows. Annabel has performed all over the world, most recently been romping around festivals and cabarets in the UK and Ireland. Annabel is a versatile and experienced performer with a wide variety of skills and styles.

Li'l Thelma Thunderbird - Fabulous Intermission Showgirl

Li'l Thelma Thunderbird is an all-shimmying all-shaking pinup gal & burlesque bombshell! Li'l Thelma has been performing since she was a li'l girl and likes nothing better than giving the audience what they came to see! Check out Li'l Thelma as the sweet intermission girl, at RED DOOR BURLESQUE @ THE ORDER OF MELBOURNE, the last Sunday of every month!

DJ Emma Peel - smooth exotic sounds

Miss Emma Peel is Melbourne's first lady of Go-Go. She has been spinning records and go-go dancing in swingin' joints since the age of 17, so she knows what's hip, baby. Ms Peel has been the resident DJ at Red Door since it's inception and boy does she know how to spin a record!! Cool exotic sounds by Ms Peel every month!
