Several years ago RFE began a Singer/Songwriter night in Sydney. It very quickly became a popular event for many of Sydney’s unsigned artists and their followers. Now, some 8 years later, RFE Bookings is an established booking agency with 2 quality venues under its wing.
RFE Bookings look after the live music at two excellent venues in Sydney and have access to others for special events. Redeeming featues Entertainment has established a working relationship with the well-respected record company Foghorn Records. This link will provide a channel for local unsigned artists to have their music heard by people that matter. Our singer/songwriter nights now run at the prestigious Roxbury Hotel at 182 St John's Rd in Glebe from 7.30pm on Thursday nights. If you are keen on performing please let us know you are planning on attending so we can save you a spot. Soloists, duos & trios perform 3-6 song acoustic set of their own music. Who I'd like to meet: RFE are looking firstly for quality original Australian acts. Ideally acts will be unsigned & have a professional attitude to their music. All types of acts are welcomed, from soloists to full bands. All genres are catered for from jazz, blues, funk, rock, easy listening & eclectic.
Acts need to be active in the industry & be working towards or have cds & merchandise for sale. All those interested in getting involved need to email Mike & request a database questionnaire & have a "Support & be Supprted" attitude. In other words, support our nights & we'll support you.
