Record Label
Poison Tree Records & Desert Drive Publishing (LA)
We are pleased to announce that we have been signed to an American (LA) Indie Label called Poison Tree Records. We have also signed a Publishing Deal with Desert Drive Publishing (LA). This is an important step in our career as a band because our music is going to be promoted, released and digitally distributed abroad. The record company approached us after listening to our tracks on myspace. Our management (www.jaggedhouse.com) immediately sealed the deal.
You can purchase our songs ("End of it all", "Black 8" and upcoming single "10 years too late") online from:

Red Electrick is the story of five young guys who have re-fashioned the old-school feel of rock n’ roll music into an edgier, modern, and sought after style. After listening to some of their tracks, one can conclude that Red Electrick is a raw, in-your-face project where the rock and ska roots of the 70's legends meet the up-beat indie attitude of the decade.
This is due to the fact that as kids, the band grew up listening to the likes of Jimmy Hendrix, The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, The Specials, Depeche Mode, The Who, The Rolling Stones and Madness...to mention a few, and they have found their unique sound and style by combining each of their individual influences together, keeping in mind modern bands such as The Killers, Arctic Monkeys and various other Indie acts. This can be seen from the groovy, ska-influenced bass lines, the raw and gritty guitar riffs and the melodic but clever vocal lines.
The band started off in 2007, when Pete and Ivan, who had been in another band for 3 years decided to leave to form a new band with a new style. They met up with singer Matt who was at the time searching for a band. A few months later they contacted long time friend Jonas to join the rhythm section of the band. Later on Raphael joined the group because of his energy and huge passion for the style and completed the 19-year old five piece band.
Red Electrick are currently working on their debut album with renowned producer Howard Keith who also produced top local and foreign acts such as Rammstein, Philip Boa, Ira Losco, Tribali and many more. Their first achievement, and also one of their proudest moments, was when they won the locally recognized Hard Rock Café Battle of the Bands when the band competed against 12 top local acts. They won a trip to play in a Hard Rock Café in Spain.
This was a catalyst for many great things, and most importantly, it made them feel like they could do something with the music they enjoyed writing and playing so much. It also meant that apart from recording and writing songs, they could deliver these songs live in an energetic show.

Its all ages! they sell fairly cheap beer and wine there, but security's loose, and i'm sure their drinks aren't as cheap as stuffing a 5th of 110 vodka into your girlfiends purse, Just a heads up. I don't like our fans being discuraged to come see good music by bar prices.

HAPPY SEPTEMBER! Did you ever wonder why animals lives are shorter than human lives? Well, here's an answer one little boy came up with when his doggie died: ___________________________________________________________________ "People are born so that they can learn how to live a good life; like loving everybody all the time and being nice, right? Well, dogs already know how to do that, so they don't have to stay as long!" ___________________________________________________________________ THINK ABOUT IT . . . when loved ones come home, always run to greet them * never pass up an opportunity to go for a joyride * allow the experience of fresh air and the wind in your face to be pure ecstacy * take naps * stretch before rising * run, romp, and play daily * thrive on attention and let people touch you * avoid biting when a simple growl will do * on warm days, stop to lie on your back in the grass * on hot days, drink lots of water and lie under a shade tree * when you're happy, dance around and wag your entire body * delight in the simple joy of a long walk * be loyal * never pretend to be something you're not * if what you want lies buried, dig until you find it * when someone is having a bad day, be silent, sit close by, and nuzzle them gently ____________________________________________________________________ GOOD ADVICE, I THINK.
