Bringing you the best in signed and unsigned Americana folks
Red Eyed & Blue wishes y'all the Happiest of Holidays over the festive season and we'll see ya in '09! We'll be returning next year with more great bands and more trucking DJ Sets from The Truckin' Lauras - and we've got some very big acts in the pipeline. Watch this space.
We think gigs should change your life. Not in any religious sort of way but it should be pretty God-damn close. In this spirit, Red Eyed & Blue aim to bring you gigs that you won't only be talking 'bout next week - but next year even. We like anything remotely Americana that grabs you by the bollocks and demands a reaction. If it reminds us of that first amphetamine kick or that first shag in the backseat of a car or the day our dog died or even finding Jesus, we feel it deserves to be heard. Expect the best of Alt.Country, Bluegrass, Blues, and Folk from both sides of the pond. Red Eyed & Blue is located in the latest Central London music venue to come onto the scene, Clerkenwell-based (EC1) The Wilmington Arms, sister venue to Camden's Hawley Arms.
