Red Eye Flight is the creation of producer Blake Whitaker and multi-instrumentalist/producer Daniel Rapport. After releasing a self-titled instrumental LP, they worked in the studio with various singers, the end result of which was their next album "Peanut Butter and Jams," a compilation of sorts featuring their instrumental productions along with the best of the tracks from all the different vocalists that they had worked with since their first LP. Most recently Red Eye Flight has teamed up with one of the featured vocalists on "Peanut Butter and Jams:" Kelly Montague and have made a collection of songs for their newest EP "Future Vintage." The sounds on "Future Vintage" are electronic-based productions with a host of live instruments played by Daniel Rapport and many others. You could call it alternative neo-soul.
