Neye Benziyor?
... a knife running up your spinial cord on a hot summer's night.
Before changing their name to Red Eye Revival, When the Dead Walk crept together in the midst of the summer of 2007 to bring a raw, metal assault to Florida and abroad. They recorded their demo, The Demon-Stration in just a few short months after playing. With Paul A. on guitar/vocals, Dustin on drums/vocals and Bags on bass/vocals, the three decided to take a different approach to the scene which surrounded them. Going wayward of the death metal, hardcore path... they are pushing against the grain of underground music with their own style and their own way. The three of them bring their own styles and influences to the table. Paul's influence of blues, grind, and sludge, Dustin's influence of punk, metal, and 80's synth & pop, and Bags' flavor for newer punk, rock and classic rock... the three will prove to be a twisted combination.
"Here's to the crazy ones.
The misfits. The rebels.
The troublemakers. The round
pegs in the square holes - the
ones who see things differently.
They're not fond of rules and
they have no respect for
the status quo. You can praise
them, disagree with them,
quote them, disbelieve them,
glorify or vilify them.
About the only thing that you
can't do is ignore them.
Because they change things."
- Jack Kerouac
