I love to collect cookbooks, even though I eat out more than I cook...:)
I love being Nana to my 6 year old grandson and 9 month old granddaughter. They are the keys to my heart!

We have over 2,000 DVD's in our movie collection so I have a wide variety and many genre's to choose from. My favorite type of movies are drama, romantic comedy, and westerns.
Television
NCIS, Bones, Cold Case, The Mentalist, Life, and The Eleventh Hour are my regular, don't miss shows.
I watch ID (Investigative Discovery)channel on a regular basis. I DO NOT LIKE, NOR WATCH, REALITY TV!!!
Books
Mysteries, Suspense, True Crime, and Biographies. Mary Higgins Clark, Richard North Patterson, and James Patterson are my favorite fiction writers.
Heroes
Anyone who applies the line of Mr. Spock from Star Trek, "the needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few, or the one" into daily life.....
Heroes whom I have the utmost respect for are our military men and women and that wonderful group of society known as our senior citizens.
About me: I am happy with my life and the person that I am. It took trial and error, good times and bad, but all which led me to the place I am now at and I wouldn't change a thing.

hi deb, sorry i havent been on much..its because i have no computer at my sisters house..but im over a neigbors using his. girl, i haven been so down and depressed latley. still havent found work! and i need to make some money!! hate being broke and haveing to rely on family.but theres not much they can do for me either..other than letting me stay here for shelter. i am gratful for that!..i just want to be able to make my own money to where i can get out and do things! tired of staying home 7 24,s! its driving me insane!.u just dont know how depressed ive been girl!..wish something would come through for me!..anyways..wanted to say hi and hope you are doing well..keep in touch girl!.love ya!

thank you so much. i feel we are lucky,so many lost sooo much more,including loved ones. what we lost is material,that is nothing when you see the images on tv. a friend of mine w/ two young sons lost everything they owned.it came so fast,and austell,ga. was hit the hardest thats about 30 minutes from me. but,its where i spent my teen years,high school,and to see the enormity of it all,in person....is the most shocking sight....to see sidewalks wiped out that i strolled my kids on....its boggles the mind...my daughter jill lost her bed,but,the miracle is,another bed that was a friend of my daughters before she passed away,wasnt touched,my other daughters antique furniture that was given to her by a sweet friend,wasnt touched....so we see the miracles,my kids dont feel the loss after seeing what others lost....xoxoxoxo i am beyond blessed to have you as a friend,thank you so much kelli

Deb - I just heard. I am so sorry for your loss. I know things have always been rough where your mom is concerned but, she was still your mom and I know the love you had for her will always remain. If there was a way to come through this screen and give you a hug, I would be doing it right now. You and your family are in our prayers.
