Redhouse Radio are an eight-piece semi-acoustic band, based around Cambridge. Our set features mainly original songs, laced with forgotten jewels from the roots/soul back catalogue.
“The variety of material as well as the variety of music talent in the band, is what makes Redhouse Radio so special.” Marion Treby, Cambridge Folk Club
“Last week's session from Cambridge ensemble Redhouse Radio was up there with my favourite sessions of all time. The eight-strong band of accordion, flute, guitar, fiddle and djembe players surpassed themselves with songs of kinky politicians and drunken meanderings.” Jeremy Sallis, The Audio Files, BBC Radio Cambridgeshire
HI thnx for the friendship and it’s nice to know you! Think it’s nice to be connected with musicians all over the world. In music we are all alike and speak the same language!!! I think you have very nice music, I enjoyed listening to it…… really sounds GREAT ….love it !! Greets from “D E E Z E L” (Belgium) and lots of luck in every thing you do!! If you can find the time check out my music too (thnx)
Hi Wendy and Co, Good to hear from you! Great tunes and sound! As for the question of genre, "So over you" suggests a "folk-music-meets-Kate-Nash" kind of thing to me! Catherine
