About Red House Tavern

The Red House Tavern, formerly Cardwell's Tavern, is located on the corner of Leakin and Essex street in Canton. We will offer afordable drinks in a comfortable enviroment. We also offer live entertainment free for the most part, something rarely found in the Baltimore area. Our room is stocked with three 42" inch plasma TV's with high definition. So whether you are looking to see a good band or watch the game The Red House Tavern has something to offer everyone. Don't forget to take a look at our menu, our kitchen has some great stuff to offer. Still not impressed? The Red House Tavern is home to the most "pee-shy friendly bathrooms" in Baltimore and we have the best toilet paper in town too!

I cannot discuss the details of its closing, nor do I really know all the details. It would mean a great deal to me if everyone could come down and drink with us before its closed. Cover Me Badd will be playing a final show on Saturday April 25th. There will be no cover for the show. Also, John and I will be there on April 30th. for the final trivia night and the big "drink down" where everything in the bar MUST GO! I have heard rumors that all drinks will be $2 that night, don't hold me to that. Its going to get crazy. So, please come down and dance, sing and drink on Sat. with Cover Me Badd and come say good-bye on Thursday April 30th. to Red House Tavern! It would mean a lot to us. I will be there with camera in hand documenting the evening. Hopefully we will close it down the same way we opened it up!
