This slide shows the outfits I put together for a Fashion Show in November 2006. I had just spent the summer making clothes and accessories to sell at the local craft market. So, the collection for me was about showing my clothes that were designed for warmer weather in a cross over way; promoting layered looks and lots of colour to take summer looks through the colder months. And ofcourse the clubtastic outfits are minimal, as they should be to keep ladies looking and feeling cool. It maybe chilly in winter, but not when ur partyin!!!!

About me: Gaia Sez... is my ethical fashion label. I don't design at the moment, cos i'm busy finishin my degree. And, so, these pics are old, sorry about dat. There just aint enough hours in the day!!! When i do do what i do, i make and design clothes and accessories reusing old clothes, fabrics and inspiring bits n bobs! I tend to exclusively make ladies fashion, although I will im sure be inspired to make male styles one day!!! And, my clothing does tend to be small, cos i am quite small, and im learning. I use myself to do rough sizing. Not ideal, but im pleased with the end results. I get more, and more skilled everytime i make an item. My current ambition is to work within an ethical fashion company. This is why i'm back at uni for the year. The dream is to work with a major fashion label like Pucci, sourcing natural fabrics and dyes, etc. Their colours are so vivid, too produce them naturally would be revolutionary!! I also want to ensure fair trade with the communities involved in manufacture and growing for the fashion industry. This work links up my fashion love with my former career path, which was community development from a healthy planet type perceptive.
