Sounds Like

"...what epictians! Think of the Editors wandering aimlessly down a beautifully shot French Riviera in slow motion while their guitars get three shades of shit bitten out of them by Kevin Shields' rabid Rottweiler... a righteous thrilling, trilling minor chord epic." NME

"'New General Catalogue' is intense almost at the point of nausea. Like the death of pain or the music of the rain. Implacable and ferociously intoxicating, with RedJetson bittersweet despair never tasted so good. 4/5" THE FLY

"Quite how red jetson have managed to create a debut release that rivals Radiohead and Mogwai alike is utterly stunning... this is an essential buy." FAKE DIY

"Forget your Motorheads or Winnebago Deals of this world, Redjetson should officially be crowned the loudest f**kers ever." ROCKFEEDBACK

"breathtakingly beautiful...buy 'New General Catalogue'." SUBBA-CULTURE

"Emotional, passionate, epic. ...Redjetson are phenomenal." REPEAT FANZINE

   About Redjetson - R.I.P
Biography

Redjetson are five people, who originated from the musical hotbed that is Essex, England. Two of us remain there, the other three reside in our capital city, London.

We have had the honour and pleasure of touring / playing shows both home and abroad with a host of inspiring bands including Youthmovie Soundtrack Strategies, 65 Days of Static, Bloc Party, Hope of the States, Forward Russia, iLiKETRAiNS and Archive.

We released our debut album "New General Catalogue" in the UK in 2005 and Europe in 2006, with two singles released inbetween. The A/A 7" single ("The Unravelling/Racing in the Mire") was released by the inspirational folk at Try Harder Records on 16th April 2007.

Redjetson disbanded in July 2008. Our posthumous 2nd album, "Other Arms", will be released on 18 May 2009 by Gizeh Records.

Click HERE to pre-order "Other Arms".

"OTHER ARMS" PRESS:

"...Should be on everybody's "Must Have" lists...a remarkable record of epic proportions, and as fine a swansong as anyone could have possibly hoped for." DROWNED IN SOUND.

"A fine farewell." 7/10, ROCK SOUND.

"...an incredible album full of emotion, sweeping guitars and undeniable passion... crimes against music would have been committed if these recordings were never to see the light of day" TASTY FANZINE.

"one of the best indie-rock albums of 2009" 4/5, ROCKMIDGETS.

"An intellectually stimulating an emotionally galvanising finale to their short career... the realisation that Redjetson are capable of such heroic deeds only makes their demise all the more saddening, but their epilogue all the more compelling." 8/10, STRANGEGLUE.COM.

"Beautifully melodramatic and edgy... definitely a hit" 7/10, DROP-D MUSIC JOURNAL.

Hey Ian,

thanks for your kind words. I know Rob has already replied to you but I just wanted to ask whether any of you guys are involved with new bands at all? I saw you guys years ago playing in Southampton and remember it blew me away. I would be really interested in hearing anything new you guys are doing/coming to any shows you have.

Anyway, hope you are well. Thanks again for the kind words.

En retour d'amsterdam, dans un sombre bus, un ami m offrit la joie de me faire decouvrir The sky is breaking, c'était juste sensationnel, du progressif traditionnel mais moderne comme j en croise plus, juste merci !

The album is banging lads, very dense and earthy but at the same time really quite beautiful. I remember hearing a lot of the tracks years ago at Brixton Jamm when you first played them live, three years later they're still awesome.

Well done and I wish you all the best in the future.
