redkattseven is a electronic act comprised of Nathan Lane, and Nathan Lane. ;) All my work is done old school..... hardware only, no computer software is used at any stage of the recording process. Aside from my own sporadic vocals, and sampled vocals, guest vocalists sometimes come into the mix, most notably, my daughter, Makayla. I would love to find some more collaborators though. I don't know how far I want to take this, I guess as far as you all let me! I'm just trying to make music that interests me and hopefully a few other like minded souls. I have always wanted to make music or DJ, for at least the last 9 years. It took a good friend of mine passing away 4 years ago to prompt me not to take my time here on this planet for granted, and to pursue my dreams while I still have a chance. The two of us had always talked of forming a duo, making music together. We even had two monikers picked, him being the bluedog, and me being the redcat. It never came to pass. So now I carry on in his memory. I've only really gotten serious the past two years or so, since early 2007. I've got well over 90 tracks recorded now. My newest songs are on the Myspace player. If you want to check out some of my older songs, pause the Myspace player, and go down to the ReverbNation player on the left hand side of the page. Come and visit my page on Reverbnation.com for free downloads and check out some of the other artists there when you get the time, it's definitely worth a visit. I'm also on Soundcloud.com, and iLike.com so if you're a member of any of the above sites, add me there too! My first album, "The Blue Dog" which is dedicated to my friend Wes the bluedog, and was recorded on his mixer, is now available at iTunes, Amazon.com Napster & eMusic.com. Most of my older songs are also for sale in my Snocap store for 77 cents a track and I have a Zazzle merchandise store full of redkatt goodies if you feel like supporting me! Hit up my local dub/electronica page, the Cincinnati Dub Collective here on Myspace or Reverbnation. Also, you should go check out my new record label page on Myspace and Reverbnation... look for red.katt.wreck.chords! If you want to know about me you can look up my profile page on Myspace, Facebook, or look me up on Twitter if you want to hear deep thoughts and random bs from my life! Hope you like the noise I make, please leave me feedback! Thanks!
