Red Leaf School of Music's Blurbs

About me:

Acoustic and electric guitar, bass, voice, drums and harmonica lessons for children and adults. All levels, and most styles.

Our instructors come from a variety of backgrounds...but all of them are excellent teachers and all of them definitely rock. They include:

Daniel Barrett: Guitar and Voice (University of Massachusetts, singer/songwriter, member of Austin band porterdavis)

Geno Stroia II: Guitar and bass (singer-songwriter, member of Austin band The Gene Pool)

Kevin Carroll: Guitar (Boise State University, singer/songwriter, lead guitarist for Charlie Robison)

Terry Hale: Acoustic and Electric Bass (bassist for George Strait's Ace in the Hole Band)

Jess Klein: Stage Performance (Internationally Touring Singer-Songwriter)

Louis Landry: drums, keyboards, electric bass, guitar, voice, ukulele, melodica, “or whatever weird instrument you have in the back of your closet.” (BA in Jazz Studies, Virginia Commonwealth University, singer/songwriter)

Emily Shirley: Voice (Singer-songwriter, vocal instructor)

Charlie Faye: Mandolin (Oberlin College)
