The Holiday has been a band since 2005 when they began in their home of Indianapolis, IN. Since 2005 they have been one of the strongest indie acts of their local scene as well as gaining recognition regionally in the mid-west. In 2008 they were featured on Indy.com magazine, WZPL, WRZX, and IMC in Indianapolis. The video for Things I Should Have Said... directed by Adam Shewmaker won them a grand prize in the local contest. Their release of The Little Drummer Boy rendition produced with Travis Palmer is just a glimpse of what 2009 holds for The Holiday.
Already the band has shared the stage with Avenged Sevenfold, Atreyu, and Bullet for my Valentine in a 2008 Battle of the Bands Midwest victory. Locally the band has shared the stage with acts such as Wavorly, Spoken, The Fold, The Wedding, Day Of Fire and Envy On The Coast. The Holiday's EP was produced by Travis Palmer of blu room studios.
