January 2009:
"Smoke & Mirrors" is complete!
Twenty songs blended to a spiced aural remedy.
The limited release is set for Valentine's and several shows are planned.
RLD will be filmed for a new TV talk show pilot as the in-house band.
The live band is presently a seven-piece and is now accepting additional performance offers.
Additional music, not heard on the album, including live versions, covers and more, will be available for free online.
Spring 2008:
Red Light District has finished the debut album, "Smoke & Mirrors", a two-disc journey with the first set of songs reflecting upon the sounds of yesteryear and the second is a group of songs for the contemporary and future listeners.
The band is now a sextet, comprised of bass, keys, vibes, guitar, drums and lead by the smooth and playful vocals of Ms Juliette Angeli.
Their debut performances in their new shape take form Friday and Saturday evening of the 23rd and 24th of May at the Elephant Theatre in Hollywood, CA.
