Redline started in 2003 by brothers Chris and Richard Yong. Stylistically, the band wanted to capture the attitude of heavy metal combined with the musicality of heavy rock.
Since then, the band have shared stages with the likes of Disturbed, Evanescence, P.O.D. and Alter Bridge in that short time.
In early 2008, their debut mini-album 'Trapped Inside' was released that captured the sound of the band's musical intention at that time. It showcased their power rock metal style and demonstrated their versatility as songwriters.
