Legendary, controversial, a sound like no other. ELEMENT, the half electronic, half live instrument brainchild of Shane Talada and electronic musician Scott Weaver. Consisted of a number of rotating 'live' musicians at times but its creative core consisted of Shane Talada, Jeremy Meza, Dave Skott, and Douglas Call. This line up would be the last in the long history of ELEMENT. Hundreds of shows, headlining and opening for many notable acts throughout the 1990's across the United States, the band seemingly disappeared into the abyss of uncertainty due to conflicting interests and schedules of its members.
However, there's more to come. =)
I love Element, found them on an old compilation album called, "Dancing on your Grave", from Cleopatra records. So I've been searching for years... I can't find anything beyond a few tracks here and there. Any tips or advice where to buy old albums, downloads... anything?
