Rage Against the Machine, Tool, Ministry. Hopelessly devoted to my 70's and 80's pre-pop metal. Miles Davis, Maynard Ferguson, Thelonius Monk, Wagner, Mozart, North African, Romany, Celtic, Klezmer, latin folk, Samuel Barber's "Adagio For Strings" when I need to bawl my eyes out. Arkangel, James Taylor Quintet, Embas- a great band out of Caracas- kinda gypsy but with an eclectic Dave Matthews feel, Jen Cass, Joe Jencks and, when I'm writing, jaunty nautical tunes because they make me smile and the rum go down easy.

I have seen exotic places like Maui, Canada, and even Spartanburg, South Carolina - but I've never been to the Outer Banks of the State I've lived in for 31 years. I am planning a Fall trip there. Can you save me from myself and give me tips on what to do and what not to do?

We're a local band playing a few originals but mostly cover songs that you will all recognize. Our song selection spans from the Beatles to the Fray - but mostly new stuff - only a few oldies.
We are: Matt McGuire - tremendous talent - both vocally and on the lead guitar - he will blow you away with his guitar work - probably the best this beach has ever heard. Also plays acoustic solo gigs.
Matt Calhoun - vocally - one of the best on the OBX - also plays in a duo - Watson and Calhoun.
Stephan Carbocci - superior bass player - also known for his chops with Frozen Head and the Squirrels.
Jake Richardson - a rising star on the drums - a young talent that can groove with the best of them.
Rick Drumm - a steady hand on the rythym guitar.
