Passion, heart, music, soul, friendship, rock, all of this is Red Mosquito. The band started its life in 2000 in south Italy and after all this years it's still rocking, with a sound full of different genres and moods. Rock, blues, grunge, pop are all mixed together to create love songs as well as harder tones.
The band, which suffered some changings in the past, actually consists of lead vocalist Cristina Prayer, guitarists Marco Antonacci and Giuseppe Nicolosi, bassist Giuseppe De Mola and drummer Francesco Santacroce. Their songs are about life subjects, and are strictly connected to personal experiences, such as "Oh, my friend" which tells about an old friend who passed away prematurely.
The band now expects to share these feelings with other people all over the world, bringing the message with its own unique and characteristic style, and with the usual power of its sound!

This beautiful (yes, beautiful) album has been in the making for over a year, us Noble Brats, have worked so hard to create a perfect mirror of our essence and did everything by ourselves. From recording to mixing to mastering. and the result has exceeded even our own expectations. All the songs in this album are full of contrasts and a rockin' out exploration and critique of the different emotions that control our lives, emotions that might keep us in an unhealthy relationship even when we know it's not good for us, emotions that drive some to systematically cut into their own skin to get a sense of control over their pain, emotions that make us wonder about our place in this world. So if you feel ready to take a chance and go on a journey into the darkness of our souls, we promise you a light at the end of the tunnel, you might even see yourself in our eyes.

Siamo una band e siamo stanchi, come molti, dei canali di distribuzione tradizionale. Per questo, insieme a SFEM, il nostro editore indipendentissimo, abbiamo deciso di fare qualcosa e di smettere di lamentarci inutilmente.
Stiamo importando in Italia PREFUELED, un distributore di musica digitale (e presto anche di video e videogames), in questi giorni esposto in anteprima nel centro COIN di Piazza Cinque Giornate a Milano (trovate le foto sul nostro profilo). Sembra un distributore di benzina ma eroga musica digitale, direttamente su lettori mp3, chiavette USB, CD e altri supporti.
Quale è la novità per noi indipendenti? Che oltre a contenere tutti i cataloghi delle major, PREFUELED è aperto a tutti gli artisti privi di contratto, che possono caricare la loro musica e farla scaricare LEGALMENTE, al prezzo che decideranno loro stessi. Senza intermediari discografici né altri ostacoli.
E non è finita. Presto il download sarà gratuito, pur garantendo la distribuzione delle royalties agli artisti.
