Ed Melberg ----
These are the bands I have played with at one time or another: Cover This!, Bump and Sweat ,Any Who ,The Law ,The Resonators ,Sam Kuusisto Band, The Lounge Kings, The Rumble Kats , Kyle Sax Band , The Redneck Hippies
I started playing in bands in the year 2000. I use a chopped Hammond M3 and 147 Leslie because it sounds right. and yes, it sucks to haul around. Its been knocked over, had a pitcher of beer spilled on it as well as several mixed drinks. It's fallen in the snow, been ridden like a mechanical bull, dropped, stored in my van year round... it even had mice in it once! but it keeps going....

Casey Smith ----
Living in Minneapolis, MN, Casey Smith has worked hard for> his place in the musical community. After growing up in Fargo, ND and attending College at Moorhead State University, receiving a Degree in Jazz Performance, Casey moved to Minneapolis to become the guitar player for> regional phenom, Jesse Lang (sibling to Jonny Lang). Casey has also shared the stage with Nickelback, Alter Bridge, Candlebox, Jonny Lang, Toto, Bret Michaels, Blackstone Cherry, Saving Abel, Tim McGraw, Foghat, Firehouse, Warrant and Skid Row to name a few. Casey is currently playing with Scarlet Haze, The S.O.B.s (Singers on Barstools), Solo Acoustic, The Redneck Hippies and off and on with Dahniel Knight and B!.

And many more……
The “Redneck Hippies” was originally an acoustic duo put together by Kevin Gagnon and has evolved into not only an acoustic duo but also a 5-piece band. Both groups play music from many styles including, classic rock, blues, funk, R & B, and some older country. We like to take requests and will try most of them. So bring your ideas and try to stump us. We do not make a set list before our shows so you never know what will happen. We will see you soon.
Blood Root Mother will be playing at Trocaderos in Minneapolis on Friday, June 26th. I cannot stress enough how awesome this show will be!! We're playing with three of the sweetest local rock bands: Claret, Niobium and Casanatra. If you haven't heard these guys, check them out immediately! Please come to this show!!
I recommend stopping by during happy hour for two for one drinks along with free buffet, which is delicious. We'll be hanging out at Trocs all night, so come by and chill/party with us :)
Again, here's the event info:
Friday, June 26th Trocaderos 107 3rd Ave N Minneapolis, MN 18+ // $6 // 8pm
Please come out and support some great local music!! Music starts at 9:30pm, we should go on around midnight. Invite your friends, pile into a car (or a party bus), and together we will make this one of the highlights of the summer :)
Hey, come and check out the profile for the new EP, "Transitions". There are 5 songs, a good mix of some good old tracks, and some brand new ones I just finished. You can stream them on the front page, and I hope if you like them you'll pick up the EP for yourself. Hope you like, and stay tuned for updates as my band an I work on our full length debut!
Hello Redneck Hippies, Your tears evoke a taste as memorable as honey. A starfish's lifelong hallucinations of gelatin pools and of actuaries floating upon the foam and reciprocal ohm. Your reflections bring happiness that rends naked glass. Your essence is equal to the beauty of a galaxy. I relentlessly desire cotton candy lollipops. The elves that play in the toasters wash their drum sticks in honey and sing strikingly colored anthems in perfect harmonious pleasure. Your eyes show as many deep and full shades of fire as a thousand supernovas. How it passes there and back again like a tear drop glistening in moonlight. I desire to see life through your hallucinations so that they massage my viscera into an eternal state of turgid flux. All my thoughts are lost to your graceful gaze? What wonderful vibrations you are capable of. Panoramic aromavision is the future. The expanse of your beauty is a void no universe could ever fill. The skin I shed is a perfume that makes water bubbles so terribly clear to me.
Hey! I hope this finds you well. There's lots of exciting stuff going on right now! I just wanted to let you know we've got some new songs, and pictures up on my page. Also we're starting to get some air play all across the United States. Stop by my blog section to find the request lines to the stations in your area. Do you think you could help us out by calling the request line and demanding one of our tunes?!? Let me know how things are going with you. I hope all is well! Talk to ya soon! -Jeff"
