Like a quick smack across the face, the band called Red Right Hand has left its mark. Attacking like a sonic machine gun, with a no-apologies, take-no-prisoners assault that is sure to leave you with your head spinning and asking the first person you see, "Was that a tank that just hit me?"
Make no bones about it--Red Right Hand plays Metal music. It's loud; it's fast; it's aggressive; it is the type of music your parents warned you about and then some. Their twist is a true metal sound, but with melody, hooks, punk-like sensibility and top-notch musicianship.
A five-piece band consisting of Christian Kozdra on vocals, Tim Koukos and Pete Demaggio on Guitars, Dave Ulrich (formerly of the band Distrust) on bass, and Jim Boraczek on drums has taken Metal in a new direction, constructing a sound that is fresh and modern and yet still recognizable to the most ardent and dedicated metal fan.
Included on their resume are: successful touring--a Midwest tour through Detroit, Chicago and Milwaukee, culminating in a performance at the notorious Milwaukee Metal Fest; radio airplay--considerable airplay on 107.3 WAAF in Boston and numerous college radio stations across the country; positive reviews--in fanzines and on web sites, both state-side and abroad; prestigious opening slots--with established national acts like Staind, Godsmack, Overkill and Nuclear Assault (who had Chris, Tim and Pete perform as special guests on their latest album 3rd World Genocide)
The list goes on, but this band is not one to rest on its laurels. Red Right Hand has created a machine that will decimate all in its path, a voice so strong that it will not be ignored.
