    Hau, Kola, thanks for stopping by our page. Red Road Awareness is a non-profit organization that is geared towards helping Natives in the Kentucky/Indiana area.
    The work we do is inspired by our Creator and as such we walk this way with one heart and one mind, praying for good help and health for all.

    Red Road Awareness was formed in Jan. 2007 when a local disc jockey made racist remarks about Native Americans on her live show.<----Follow the link to listen to the full audio. Also you can read the emails exchanged between the shock jock and Red Road Awareness co-founder Lynny in the blogs.

    Founders Matt & Lynny make up Red Road Awareness along with the help of many people from their Tiyospye and beyond. We are available 24 hrs. a day, 7 days a week for our brothers and sisters not only here in Kentucky, but whenever a need is brought to our attention. We help where we can and if we can't, we try to find people who can!

    Red Road Awareness has grown in the past two years and we hope to continue this growth for many more years to come. The needs of the people are real and the message is clear: We are still here!

OUR MISSION:
We at Red Road Awareness are committed to protecting cultural and inherited rights of indigenous people in the United States. Our mission is to inform native and non-native people about issues of racism, desecration of our Sacred sites, correct historical misinformation, promote Native causes, Native-made products and Native perspectives. We will promote Native events and gatherings in a positive way and encourage the Native community to follow the ways of the people and to walk the RED ROAD so that these ways will survive and grow strong for our future generations.
