red rose cotillion performs original music. we play covers, too, in our own way, but we're really about the originals -- and we've always been. We sing about things that we believe matter: peace, war, poverty, injustice, nuclear sanity, prison conditions, constitutional rights, love, death, eternity, dancing, rice krispies, etc. ... and we try to have a little fun despite (or, to spite) the cares and worries of the world, those of our own making and those that are thrust upon us.
