the band red scare was formed in covina way back in april of 2003. it was me (david peeler) and my friend juan sittin in his room, i asked the question hey want to start a band? he said yes. he then made up a song. but we were short a bassist and a drummer. so i asked my friend dallas if he would drum for us. he said yes. later that week we attended Fallen Army's farewell show. this is where i saw a fat man named bob. i asked him if he would want to take up bass to play in a band being that he asked me to be in a band at one point. so his fat ass is lucky. we had our first practice with just me juan and dallas. it sucked fucking ass. oh well. a couple days later we went to bobs house where we had another pratcice that also sucked. a week later we had put together four covers. bloodstains- agent orange, bombshell- operation ivy, nervous breakdown-black flag, and blitzkrieg bop- ramones. this show fucking sucked balls. fuck it we put together some originals and some more covers. by this time we had established a name. PESSIMISTIC BASTRADS. fuck that name was gay. we played one more show and kicked dallas out of the band. we got a new drummer that went by the name miguel aka miguelitos. he was an ok drummer and we chnaged our name to RED SCARE. we said fuck the original songs that we had and created more. made a demo, played shit loads of shows and fucked many of women. finally drugs had indefinately consumed miguel. he said he was bored and left/kicked out of the band. we had a friend of ours named fat ricky that loves food fill in on drums for a few shows. then we found a young man by the name of jesse kyles. months later juan and the band decided to part ways with juan taking all of his songs. there were four of them. we just made new ones after getting a new guitarist named andrew lowell aka drew. hes currently also in a band called cranial constipation. we have made our first e.p. and are playing lots of shows, most of which we put together. red scare will live forever. now go fuck urself while listening to red scare.
