Sounds Like
Musically, Red Sea has some heavy groove type songs in the style of Deep Purple, Whitesnake, Led Zeppelin and Bad Company. It's 70's based rock with kind of a 90's edge.

A NOTE FROM ROBYN KYLE BASAURI ON RED SEA "BLOOD" CD:
"DEAR FRIENDS:
WHAT YOU ARE HEARING IS THE RESULT OF PATIENCE, DREAMS, PASSION, FAITH AND FRIENDSHIP, BUT MOSTLY GRACE. IT'S BEEN A LONG AND TEDIOUS PROCESS TO ARRIVE AT THE FINAL NOTES SUNG AND PLAYED ON THIS ALBUM. TO ME, THE CIRCUMSTANCES SURROUNDING EACH OF THESE TRACKS ARE UNIQUE, AND IN THEMSELVES, A TESTIMONY TO THE FACT THAT GOD'S LOVE AND GRACE EXTENDS EVEN TO THOSE, AT TIMES, LESS DESERVING THAN OTHERS.
JUST THE FACT THAT THIS ALBUM IS FINISHED AND IN YOUR HANDS IS A MIRACLE IN ITSELF. WHEN WE WERE TIRED, BURNT OUT, AND ON EDGE FROM LONG HOURS IN THE STUDIO WITH ALMOST NO SLEEP, WHEN CHRIS' FINGERS BLED, GREG'S HAND ACHED AND JEFF'S BSTERS TURNED TO CALLOUSES, OR MY VOICE WAS NEAR GONE, GOD'S GRACE AND POWER PREVAILED.
I CAN'T COUNT THE NUMBER OF TIMES WE WOULD PRAY FOR SOME PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED, AND IT WOULD BE. I KEPT TELLING MYSELF THIS WILL NEVER GET DONE, BUT GOD WAS ALWAYS IN THE DRIVER'S SEAT AND I WAS JUST A BACKSEAT DRIVER. JUST LIKE THE TIME WHEN GOD'S PEOPLE WERE STANDING AT THE RED SEA, I BET NO ONE THOUGHT THAT THERE WAS ANY HOPE. BUT GOD WORKED A MIRACLE TO SAVE HIS PEOPLE. NOW, I'M NOT SAYING THAT THIS BAND IS IN ANYWAY COMPARABLE TO THE MAGNITUDE OF THAT MIRACLE, BUT I AM SAYING GOD CAN DO ANYTHING, AND THIS HAS PROVEN IN MORE WAYS THAN ONE TO BE MY RED SEA. ROCK ON & GOD BLESS"
Mr. Pure Rock 'N' Roll Power - ROBYN KYLE BASAURI - makes his debut with Red Sea. Having sung in Jaguar (Including the song "Show Me The Way" bonus cut on the Joshua Surrender re-issue), Die Happy, P.K. Mitchell's All Hail The Power and the second Sanctuary Praise album.
Die Happy was a Christian metal band that formed in 1990. The band was formed when Vengeance Rising members Larry Farkas, Doug Thieme, Glenn Mancaruso, and Roger Dale Martin split the band, citing unrest with that band's front man and vocalist, Roger Martinez. They hired Robin Kyle Bassuri, formerly of Joshua, as a vocalist and he officially joined the band after the release of their eponymous debut.
At the time of their first album the band was seen as "Vengeance Rising with a new Vocalist". For their second release, however, their sound changed to more of a hard, classic rock sound. Lyrically, the band was socially focused. Songs dealt with issues such as Magic Johnson and HIV-AIDS ("Real") and American Indian massacres ("Painted Truth").
Larry Farkas and Doug Thieme had reformed under the new name "Once Dead" with Vengeance member Glenn Mancaruso and the addition of Ultimatum vocalist Scott Waters. Originally planning to be a reunion, Martinez owned the original rights to the name. Instead of fighting for the rights to "Vengeance Rising," they instead used the name "Once Dead."
Following the demise of Die Happy, Robyn Kyle Basauri formed the band Red Sea with bassist Greg Chaisson, Chris Howell on guitar and Paul Huesman on drums. The band released one album, Blood, on Rugged Records in 1994. The album was recorded with Badlands bassist Greg Chaisson (Badlands) and drummer Jeff Martin (Badlands).
Robyn Kyle Basauri is in the candy distribution business and enjoying that life.
The MAKING of All Hail The Power:
ALL HAIL THE POWER originated when Michael Betts was inspired to do traditional hymns in a modern rock format. After getting a commitment from P.K. Mitchell to write it, his next step was to find an interested label. Shortly after doing so the label proved to be financially unable to properly promote the venture. The result being that Michael decided to form Patriot Records Inc.
Naturally, P.K. was asked to record "All Hail The Power" and in early '92 recording sessions began. Early recording consisted of Glen Mancaruso, Jim Laverde and Dave Oliver. The album was recorded at DINO M II Studios in Torrance, California. Once basic tracks were laid, and tapes began to circulate, singers started getting interested. Within a short time six lead singers, three back-up vocalists, and various studio musicians, were ready to lay down the final tracks.
The final line up for the album includes Robyn Kyle Basauri, Ken Pike, Russell Painter, Dave Oliver, Dana Hyatt and Dana Croucier.
Doug Van Pelt of Heaven's Metal says, "This is the Best Hard Rock Worship album I've ever heard!"

"Sounds like a good mix of old school doom inspired by Black Sabbath with a mix of modern influence and heavy stuff. The singer could be Ozzy's brother !" -Alexander Rack, President Of Black Sabbath Fan Club, Germany
"If Ozzy ever needs a ghostsinger, it should be David Benson!" -Horst Odermatt, Heavy Oder Was !? Magazine, Germany
"The US version of Ozzy Osbourne bears the name of David Benson. David sounds very much like the Ozzman himself. Well worth checking out ... for fans of Doom oriented hard rock!" - Janne Stark , Hard Roxx Magazine , UK
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through him, and without him was not any thing made that was made. In him was life, and the life was the light of men. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it. John 1: 1-5
