RED SHARK IN VEGAS are a young alt-acoustic rock band originally from the West Country, now living in Brighton. They play stripped back melodic songs, with the weight of Zeppelin and the bite of early Kings of Leon. The first song they wrote together was “tales of the misled”, a song that’s sound defined the rest that were to follow. Coming from a small hometown and having known each other nearly all their lives, their close friendship is clearly visible in their tight, punchy, exciting live performances. With a wide taste in musical genres, the band’s influences run from the classic to the modern with elements of Dylan, Springsteen and Nick Cave also appearing in the music. RSIV have been together for about 3 years as this current line. Tom and Dan first played together in a pub in Devon called The Tube, this was a weird place with half a tube train as the bar, and you would be served through the windows. The band once played basketball with Macy Gray and Buck Cherry in Sunset Studios, LA. RSIV are always very focused on their performances and this is helped along by the fact that Tom is a qualified hypnotherapist.

"RED SHARK IN VEGAS was next and what a band. Truly great. A 3 piece fully acoustic band with more passion than a Spanish woman on heat. Reminiscing of Dave Matthews but with far more balls. The Drummer at the end took best drummer of the night and rightly so (14 bands all up may I remind you), the singer/frontman had stunning vocals and all round great tunes, great arrangements and rock star quality as far as stage presence. A big plus"
