Red Sky Rebel are a four piece Funk/Rock band from Colchester. The band formed in early 2006 and have been performing and recording ever since. Red Sky Rebel have been regarded as one of the most exciting bands to emerge from Colchester, taking influence from bands such as John Mayer, The Red Hot Chili Peppers, Pearl Jam, and Incubus.
As 2008 Twist Battle of the Bands winners, the band went on to play the highly regarded "Chill in the Park" mainstage and open the Mayfair festival in Wivenhoe.
The band have never tied themselves down to any specific genre and take pride in the diversity of their music. With powerful guitar riffs, catchy vocals, rhythmic drums, and gut busting basslines this is a band you cannot afford to miss.
