Austin famous "Red's Scoot Inn" Established in 1871 was the first place in Austin Texas that you could drive through and buy beer which many earlier Austinites did on horse and wagon. Nestled amongst the many high end condominims , it is billed as the "best kept secret in east Austin". Red's Scoot Inn is just a short walk from the convention center, Red's features a spacious outdoor stage and beer garden. It’s easy to get to 1308 E 4th Street. four blocks east of I35 near downtown on the corner of E 4th and Navasota.
