Redstone Ridge is a bluegrass band based in Western Connecticut. Entering their fourth year the band has enjoyed success bringing their mix of "hard driving" bluegrass and Americana to fairs, festivals, and town greens across the state.
As the band prepares to move into 2009 they are undergoing their first change of personnel. After performing with the band for three years, original member Aaron Shaw has decided to leave the band to enable him to spend more time with family.
We are very excited to welcome long-time Connecticut area bluegrasser Paul Pozzi aboard. His signature high tenor vocals and solid mandolin playing are a perfect addition to the band. Along with original band members Irv Hagewood (5 string banjo & vocals) Scott Camera (Dobro & vocals) Dave Aston (Acoustic bass) and Andy Spencer (Guitar & vocals) the line-up is a winner! Wait a minute! For you fiddle fans we now have Vic Gallagher performing with us and he adds sooooo much to our sound!
Available for festivals, concert series, or private functions they continue to delight audiences with their high energy bluegrass and on-stage banter.
