About me: "Reduction” is a new film festival dedicated to film and video content with a green/environmental theme or agenda. The festival will be based in Yorkshire and although the main competition will be open to films from all over the world, the project will also include a time-based filmmaking challenge which will be a local/regional event directly benefiting Yorkshire's filmmakers, businesses and environmental organisations.
The festival will be extensively publicised throughout the region and over several months, will become a hub of activity for creative practitioners, activists, interested members of the public and companies and organisations who recognise the importance of the environmental debate.
