I have taken a hiatus from the modeling and acting world for the last year due to the birth of my new baby girl and to pursue a graduate degree. I am currently working on a Master's in Molecular Biology with a goal of obtaining a Doctorate in biomedical science. I would like to eventually conduct research that will benefit premature babies and maternal/fetal medicine.
I am a supporter of animal rescue and adoption, March of Dimes to help sick and premature babies (my daughter was a 2 pound, 26 week preemie), Autism research, and help and support for the mentally disabled. All of these are causes that are personal to me and that have directly influenced my life. Yes, my hair is real. I am a natural redhead!
