    Two Beautiful and Talented Twin sisters, Tiffany and Kimberly Reis, and there equally Talented Brother’s Vincent and Edward Scola formed the band Mama’s Pride in 1997. After Recording a three song demo in 1998 MCA showed interest by requesting more songs, but at that time brother Edward was going through a Painful Divorce and decided to quit the band letting the interest die. Later Brother Edward retuned to the band. Together they went on to become one of Sacramento's hottest act’s Winning Three Consecutive Sacramento Area Music Award's in 2002, 2003 and 2004. In 2003 brother Edward was born again as a Christian and decided to quit the band and is now spreading the word. Later that year Eric Everett friend and drummer of a rival band that had just broken up joined the band. In 2005 the band was awarded with a Sammies Hall of Fame plaque only because after Winning Three Sammies they were not eligible to enter. Followed by the release of there debut CD in January of 2004 the band was playing an average of twenty shows a month including The Radisson for the Kings & Lakers after party, The Crest Theater for the 2003 Sacramento Music Awards and the world famous Whisky a go go in Los Angeles and was also the first local band picked to play the side stage at the Sleeptrain Amphitheater for the Alicia Keys and Journey concerts. While Selling cd’s and Signing Autographs to new fans at the end of every show. At one of there shows someone came up to them and said Quote (You guys are really good but you would be better if you played your own songs) they play all originals! Their song, “Free” Won numerous awards including: Track of the Day on 2/23/2006 in Groove Rock, Best Female Vocals in Groove Rock week of 2/13/2006, Best Female Vocals in Groove Rock week of 2/20/2006 and Best Melody in Groove Rock week of 2/20/2006 on www.garageband.com There song “I’m on Fire” was voted number one most requested song by a massive amount of radio listeners calling in and sending emails to the station (KRXQ 98 Rock) even though the band was not on the radio stations website were all the band’s were picked from. There Debut CD was available at Dimple, Tower of Records, The Beat, and Virgin Mega Stores. Virgin Mega Stores like the CD so much they added it on the store’s listening post. The band’s Debut CD is still selling and generating revenue on Cdbaby.com still to this day. Copies of there CD were sent to Brazil due to it being played on the radio and having overwhelming responds. After shopping there CD there self’s a Sony Top Executive heard the CD and took interest in the band but after numerous attempts to get the Sony Exec to see them live the band ran out of money driving back and forth from Sacramento to LA. Later they find out the Sony Executive had retired. In 2007 the band then called Mama’s Pride received an email and phone call from a band out of St Louis that also called them self’s Mama’s Pride. It seemed that they have had the name since the 70’s and was signed by Atlantic Records and is still Putting out CD’s and doing shows. it was starting to cause a problem for them. In 2008 Kimberly gave birth to her Beautiful Daughter Kaya. After a year long break, they came back Rejuvenated and with a new name Red Velvet Kiss. (First Red Velvet Kiss Review:) Red Velvet Kiss saved the night with a funky, soul-inspired pop rock set, heavy on the rock. This Sammie-award winning band's experience showed the second their set began. Remember En Vogue’s”Free you’re mind”? That's the feel of Red Velvet Kiss' live set lead by Tiffany's in-your-face, stellar vocals. The band is so much fun live, you can easily get lost in their commanding presence and sound.
