In the Autumn of 2006 a few boys and a girl holed themselves up in the bedroom of a squat like flat with a leaky roof and no hot water or washing machine, above a church hall somewhere in Surbiton. They played some songs and recorded them using dimmed lighting, woodbine cigarettes, a special needs laptop awarded for Dyslexia and a hooky copy of a popular recording application. Redvers pressed record, did singing, guitar, percussion, sound engineering, production, and wrote the songs, James Hatton played drums and percussion, David Hatton played bass guitar (they're brothers), Tom Farrer played piano and sang. Alison Stakim played cello, Richard Sadler played double bass, David Boyter produced a track and James McInerney walked into the room while Miracles Maybe was being mixed and recorded some deep bass voice. The next day Nick Marks came round and moaned a bit cus he wasn't on it but did suggest the order of the tracks, then Redvers made an album cover with Tom Pod, Homegrown label WeRecords Records was born and we had a party at Chuck’s house to celebrate. The album Scrapbook is now available through several digital outlets, including iTunes, Napster, Rhapsody + others. Physical copies can be obtained from Amazon and Banquet Record shops. In 2007, the present, Redvers Bailey is playing gigs in London venues solo and with new band Pirate Soul Museum. Buy the Album from: iTunes - ..
