At the start of 2006, local musician Ronnie Cato (of Living Space) decided put together a music showcase at the Red Victorian Hotel. What started as a monthly experiment has turned into a full fledged event. The weekly showcase has featured over 300 local and national singers/ songwriters/ musicians. We are proud to bring music to the Haight St. neighborhood and promise to make 2009 even better with great shows every week. We want to show the interesting and the wide range of talented songwriters and musicians in the Bay Area.
If you are a singer, songwriter, duo, trio, band or instrumentalist, we are interested in hearing from you. You can sell your music and merchandise at the show. We are open to all types of music if it can work well in the space. At this time we can accomodate basic parlor drum set played with brushes or bamboo sticks only. Remember this is a bed and breakfast hotel and too much noise may disturb the patrons.
