Tacking in moon-blued crooks from the black
Stone-built town, that she heard the quick air
ignite
Its tinder and shake
A firework of echoes from wall
To wall of the dark, dwarfed cottages.
But the echoes died at her back as the walls
Gave way to fields and the incessant seethe of
grasses
Riding in the full
Of the moon, manes to the wind,
Tireless, tied, as a moon-bound sea
Moves on its root. Though a mist-wraith
wound
Up from the fissured valley and hung
shoulder-high
Ahead, it fattened
To no family-featured ghost,
Nor did any word body with a name
The blank mood she walked in. Once past
The dream-peopled village, her eyes enter-
tained no dream,
And the sandman's dust
Lost luster under her footsoles.
The long wind, paring her person down
To a pinch of flame, blew its burdened
whistle
In the whorl of her ear, and like a scooped-out
pumpkin crown
Her head cupped the babel.
All the night gave her, in return
For the paltry gift of her bulk and the beat
Of her heart was the humped indifferent iron
Of its hills, and its pastures bordered by black
stone set
On black stone. Barns
Guarded broods and litters
Behind shut doors; the dairy herds
Knelt in the meadow mute as boulders;
Sheep drowsed stoneward in thier tussocks of
wool, and birds,
Twig-sleeping, wore
Granite ruffs, thier shadows
The guise of leaves. The whole landscape
Loomed absolute as the antique world was
Once, in its earliest sway of lymph and sap,
Unaltered by eyes,
Enough to snuff the quick
Of her small heat out, but before the wieght
Of stones and hills of stones could break
Her down to mere quartz grit in that stony
light
She turned back.

About Elision the Definition. (Eli = Kidd/Ego = Monster
ELISION the KIDD/DEFINITION/MONSTER, aka Eli Fowler, as been performing as an artistic entity on the underground hip hop scene for nearly a decade. Starting out as a young emcee in his rural hometown of Redway, CA (one of the southernmost cities in Californias famed Humboldt County), his talents were quickly recognized by the then bubbling group apptly titled the HUMBOLDT COUNTY FREESTLY KINGS. Opening for acts such as FISHBONE, the GHETTO YOUTH CREW, ANTHONY B. & BONE THUGS amongst others, the then "Freestyle Prince" was easily noticed from a crowd perspective : his young, boyish looks and off-the-top wit caught the crowds eye quickly, while his flow and lyrical content kept thier attention. The FREESTYLE KINGS would go on perform at the legendary reggae music festival REGGAE ON THE RIVER in 2001, becoming the first hip hop group to ever take the stage, while ELISION would be remembered as the youngest performer, only 16, to rock that particular crowd. The KINGS eventually disbanded, but Eli kept in close touch with the other band members and, at the age of 17, he began recording with keyboardist / producer B. SWIZLO and emcee GARTH VADER on the album HURRICANE HUDSON : TWISTED. Quickly thereafter, ELISION was hard on the grind, working on his debut solo album, CHAPTER 1 : INTRODUCTION, and concocting his recipe to build the hip hop supergroup SUBLIMINAL SABOTAGE along with emcees MIKASUN and MCP, and producer / percussionist GALEN DAVIS. Today the movement is in full swing : SUBLIMINAL SABOTAGE has been playing consecutive shows all over Humboldt County. Plus, with the support of all his fans, friends and family, CHAPTER 1 : INTRODUCTION has become a staple in Humboldt County hip hop with the singles "HUMBOLDT RIDERS" and "FADE AWAY", paving the way for MIKASUNS debut album STRATEGIC VISION (2007), MCPS debut album IM IN LOVE WITH DEATH and, of course, the long awaited SUBLIMINAL SABOTAGE LP.

My mission in life is to fight Human Trafficking. understanding the individual pain of others is sometimes to painful for an other individual to touch and that is frightening ...what i mean is that someone whose life is not traumatized and brutalized as a regular sequence of every day events unconsciously seeks the camouflage and shelter of apathy and banality from the reality of such devastating anguish and terror ...but the spirit of young people who are used as sex slaves in the systematized global industry of human trafficking is now reaching out to the human fellowship in hope and desperation and through technology ...it is scary when humanity turns a blind eye to this horror ...its like ignoring genocide whilst it is happening ...what i am asking is that if you hear the cry of these young people who are existing in an environment of torture and brutality each and every day that you then please do not turn away from them ...please reach deeply into your heart and soul and please in 2009 join a movement or become a part of an event that challenges modern slavery in the 21st century ...
