New Releases:Wet Fur - Chimeric c20 (Obsolete Units)
"Chimeric distills Rosenberg's single-person digital havoc into 20 minutes of unnerving and relentless laptop destitution. Dynamically diverse and fulfillingly dense, Chimeric crunches disorienting clusters of mechanized fury alongside moments of disquieting extreme minimalism and ominous gaps. Two side-long pieces carefully crafted for the cassette format; a welcome and satisfying audio document of Rosenberg's acclaimed solo creations."
-Obsolete Units press release
Chimeric (adj.) - Of, relating to, or in the nature of an illusion; lacking reality.
Comes with beautiful and dense contrast grind artwork by visual artist and sometimes Graffiti Research Lab collaborator Borna Sammak.
Available from the Obsolete Units myspace for a mere $6.
Tandem Electrics - Intaglio CDr (rar)
"The debut album by this improvised laptop duo and second release by label RAR treads the nebulous buffer between EAI and noise. Ground hum and circuit splatter give way to granular explosions and complex drones. Heavy heavy bass and skittering digital noise. The stuff your computer's dreams are made of. Play loud."

I am a big procrastinator and only applied early action to one school because the guy that did my portfolio review insisted. School of Visual Arts wants me! Which is very very nice but I am hoping for Pratt as well since they also have writing- I won't hear from them until spring. I have written many poems and gotten no where on my book. I miss you a lot, but I said that already. We need to meet up soon!
