Gleich beim ersten Treffen, im November 2003, entstand der erste Song: „Let’s get free“ - das ist das Ziel nach dem Sebastian und Stefan noch heute streben. Frei zu sein, menschlich und musikalisch. Den Mut zu haben, zu entdecken und zu sein, wie man wirklich sein will - das versuchen A Reel Gallery zu transportieren.
Die Musik ist emotional und dynamisch - nicht sperrig, aber unkonventionell. Geprägt von Singer-Songwritern in einem Ohr, im anderen Ohr laute, experimentierfreudige Bands, beherrscht die Band sowohl ruhige Töne als auch explosive Momente. Die Texte sind nicht schwer, aber tiefgehend. Es geht um die Schönheit vom Leben und der Liebe, aber auch um die Schwächen des Menschen und seiner Welt.
2003: Gründung von Acoustic Love
2004: Auftritte in Jugendzentren und Cafés in Ibbenbüren und Osnabrück
2005: Gründung von A Reel Gallery - Stefan spielt nun Schlagzeug
2006: 1. Album „Secret Glances“
2007: CD "Lives", Songs mit Bastian Ottenhus (Bass) und Sebastian Richter (Piano)
2008: "The Loss of the Body" (Online-Release), Markus Pech steigt als Bassist ein

After the first meeting the first song was written: “Let’s get free”. Today, five years later this is still the aim of Sebastian and Stefan, as persons and as musicians. To be free, to have heart, to discover oneself and everything around.
The repertoire of A Reel Gallery contains many emotional and melodic ballads about Love and Life as many dynamic, experimental songs about the evil inside this world and the people existing in it.
