About me: We are two graphic and web designers who created Reenactors Network Online and Reenactors Community on Myspace. This myspace and website was created due to our interest in history and final project for a web class we took. Since then we have continued the project and have gain information which we try to post on our site.
Reenactors Network is an online networking site to connect Reenactors and the general public. We are dedicate to preserve our country and world history and where they are located.
Goal: is to help promote reenacting and have the information more accesible to everyone rather you are into the hobby or would like to know more on the history, battle, style and etc that is being portrayed. Enable private and govern historic associations make the use of these individuals(reenactors/interpretors) to help educate the public. And that daily life and women's roles in history are more educated and potrayed.
Reenactors Community: Myspace This community was first established in August 2006 which later founded wereenact.net. Many of whom you find within our friends list are patrons, muscians, and merchants of a wide verity of historic periods and reenacting groups. So if you’re a new comer to living history and reenacting events this is the place where you can get connected with those who are already in the living history community.
We take our time adding, welcoming and getting to know everyone on our friends list. If you keep on being denied to our friends list please introduce your self to us because your site may be questionable to us. We want to make sure that none of our members or friends are chains, hackers or internet predator for the safety of this site, viewers and members. Thanks for your patience.
This page is mainly to advertise our site and get connected with some of our viewers. Please visit our main website at Reenactor's Network or We Reenact
If you wish to be added onto our friends list you must mention and/or have an interest in Reenacting, Living History and/or History. If you do not not mention anything of the following on your myspace page we will not accept your request. We mainly want to connect with Sutlers, Reenactors, Historical Non-Profits and Historical Landmarks.
Who I'd like to meet:
We would like to meet other history enthusists and those who are interested in becoming reenactors. As well as meet all reenactors who portray other historical periods besides American Civil War, Revolutionary War and Renaissance, as well as those who reenact those periods. We would also like to meet artisans who create historical objects of every time period, as well as musicians who play period music.
Thank you for the request! After making his famous crossing of the Delaware River on Christmas morning and defeating the Hessians stationed in Trenton - on January 3, 1777 the Battle of Princeton was Washington's first victory over the British Regulars.
When God created the robin redbreast, He told the bird he must remain plain and gray until he earned his red badge of courage. At Golgotha, the robin, seeking to relieve the sufferings of the Savior, overcame his fear of the mocking crowd, flew to Christ and pulled a thorn out of his head. The blood from the thorn's wound dripped on to the robin's breast and has caused it to be red ever since. HAPPY EASTER
