I didn't know Meena very well, but I played a few gigs with her - mainly in the Front Bar at The Croft. The times I met and talked to her, listened to her songs (and crazy improvisations) were always a pleasure and I feel sad that I didn't make it along to any of the gigs I would often get text messages about; always thinking that there would be another one around the corner. And now there won't be.
I'm so sorry to hear the sad news that LadyRaz has gone. I remember her as a gifted and inventive musician and performer who exuded warmth, happiness and humour. - Pat x
I was deeply saddend to hear that Meena passed away on the 24th December. She was a truly talented singer/song writer, with fun lyrics. When she played at the Old Bath Arms, she had a great impact with her beautiful voice and personality. I am so sorry to hear of her loss, my thoughts and prayers go out to Meena and her family. You will be truly missed. xxx
