Publishing - Writer - Biographer

My most interesting book is a first-ever bio of Charles Richter, of Richter Scale fame. Interesting life story! I also write about science: couple of books in print, newspaper and magazine articles here & there.

Susan's Blurbs |
About me:
I study earthquakes. And I write, usually about earthquakes but sometimes other things. I have three children, all of whom had myspace pages years before I did. But I had my first email account years before the youngest was even born. So there. My job takes me interesting places; this is one of the best things about my job. I seem to be (d)evolving into a historian in my dotage: historical earthquakes, the history of science. I like to take pictures, read, write, make cookies, do yoga, and pester my children. I have too many cats.
