Ok, so there reached a point where we had to some how; get involved & contribute in some way, by creating music that would reflect all of the above genre inspirations, ...so we started off playing with some friends in a band called 'Underconstruction', band members consisted of; Graham Parkinson: guitar & head (only) engineer. Adam Marchbank on drums, Mark Kinghan; vocals, and us on Bass. Style was alternative/postpunk, ...we did a few live gigs and, had one song: "War Toys" released on a New Zealand Goth compilation titled: '20 solid goth hits', produced/compiled by max ego of Hieronymous Bosch fame. The next project was Nazi Disco (formed 1993), later on got re-labeled Naz-Co... due to name controversy (you get that with art (lol)). Band Members; Mark Wallbank (AKA; Max Ego): Vocals, Keys, Drum Programming, effects, Rhys Braddock: Guitar. Me: Bass. The style here was more electro, and the inspirations amongst the band were artists like: 'Front 242', 'Skinny Puppy', 'Revolting Cocks', 'Borghesia', 'Klinik', etc, etc. At the same period of time, infact earlier; 91', we were working on a solo project: "Reflex Condition", we only did like bedroom/basment type recordings, a very minimal affair it was, using some pretty budget type equipment eg: X15 Fostex four track recorder...however it was great to have the freedom of experimentation, in the way that you could manipulate & dabble with the different instrumentation tools, trying out some fairly interesting effects... some of this involved tape sampling, delay treatments, etc... applied sometimes on all instruments, including the Doncamatic + Korg Drum Machines as well as sometimes even to an acoustic drum kit, blah, blah, blah. Nowadayz... we're still working on Reflex Condition stuff, using mainly PC software & samples, etc ... it's a bit of a larf & good fun at the same time, so hope you all can enjoy the 4 songs above, and by all means feel free to download whatever you want! ... check out the new track: 'DEEP IN IT' , this work was intended to be a little similar in concept to that of; "2 MANY DJ'S" (more minimal production of course)... 'Deep In It' is basically a direct tribute to 'Deep Dive Corp' (Great 2 Piece from Germany), 'Killing Joke', 'Snakefinger' and ''The Birthday Party', so this is like our way of paying homage to some of our fav' artists: ...hope u can enjoy.
