About me:
I like to make things. Mostly jewelry, but other things too. I love to use metals, leather and other materials that are "refound" from old objects that have a history and an interesting story to tell, or are from an interesting place. Often, I use them along side precious metals such as gold, silver, copper, or with pearls or stones.
I am usually interested in achieving an aged, rugged, rustic, hand-wrought look, sometimes even a primitive "frontier" look. I am inspired by the deserts, old desert towns and Rt 66 towns, mining and its history, ghost towns, dirt roads, old machinery, old airplanes, motorcycles and cars, old guns, and hearty, rugged people with great stories to tell. I roam the deserts often, and sometimes work and create things while I am camping out there.
I sell items mostly by word-of-mouth, but occasionally also do shows. I often do custom work for people who want something special made from an old object they own, or which may have belonged to a loved one or friend. Please contact me with your ideas.
